CUBA IS NOT ALONE!
Anti-Imperialist Front in Greece participated as a speaker in Solidarity Event for Cuba organised by organisation Metavasi – For the Communist Perspective
Solidarity event for Cuba held on Saturday 18 April in Athens, organised by Metavasi – For Communist Perspective in which greeting message sent by Ambassador of Cuba in Greece. Speakers were Konstantina Kartsioti from Anti-Imperialist Front, Dimitris Kaltsonis, academician on political science, and Alekos Halvatzis from Cultural Centre “José Marti”. Video message was sent from Havana the academician Takis Politis.
The event was crowdfull, 80-100 people were joined and emphasized on the new international brigades and Caravans to Cuba that will held on 1st May and also on August.
Konstantina Kartsioti spoke about the importance of the unity of the antiimperialist struggle against US-NATO imperialism. She explained detailed about the strategy of US and NATO and their aggression against Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen and etc.
She mentioned also the importance of the international delegations and missions to stand with the people wherever imperialism attacks and spoke about AIF past delegations in Syria, Lebanon, Egypt to Gaza, Donbass and explained also about the new mission to Iran. She also expressed the solidarity to Cuba and mentioned that the caravans are very important to show solidarity and people’s Unity. She closed her speech with the phrase “Seguiremos Adelante, We will go Forward!” and with a quote of Che Guevara:
“There are no borders in this struggle to the death. We cannot be indifferent to what happens anywhere in the world, because a victory by any country over imperialism is our victory, just as any country’s defeat is a defeat for all of us.”
