Our comrade Konstantina Kartsioti, a member of the Anti-Imperialist Front Greece, has once again begun to be harassed by the Greek police.
We say ‘once again’ because this has happened before.
We say she is being harassed because the police is openly watching her home day and night.
And they follow her wherever she goes, making their presence known.
Why is the Greek police doing this?
Because our comrade Konstantina Kartsioti works tirelessly, day and night, sacrificing her sleep and rushing from place to place, carrying out activities for her comrades, the Greek people and the peoples of the world.
We know Konstantina from her support for the People’s Front prisoners in Greece.
We know her for standing with the Palestinian people. We know her for participating in the Palestine march on behalf of the AIF, and for wanting to cross from the Rafah crossing in Egypt into Gaza.
We know her for the support she has shown to the Lebanese people.
We know her from the conferences she has attended with Ansar Allah.
We know her for standing up for the people of Donbas and Russia, who are under attack by NATO and the US.
We know this from her support for prisoners undertaking indefinite hunger strikes and death fasts in Pit-type prisons, and from her having organised solidarity hunger strikes on numerous occasions for their sake.
She is now also supporting the Iranian people, who are under attack by US and Israeli Zionism.
Konstantina has always made her stance clear. She has always stood with the oppressed and exploited peoples of the world.
Of course, the Greek police’s harassment of her clearly reveals Greece’s stance:
The Greek state stands with the murderous, colonialist, and war-crimes-committing US imperialism and the fascist, Zionist state of Israel.
The Greek police must cease harassing Konstantina Kartsioti.
If anything happens to our comrade Konstantina, we will hold the Greek state responsible. We will hold the police force within the Greek state apparatus responsible.
Konstantina Kartsioti is not alone.
Her comrades and the peoples of the world stand with her.
