THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT SAYS THAT THERE IS NO THREAT TO ALI OSMAN KÖSE’S LIFE!
THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT ACCOMPLICES IN THE MURDER OF SICK PRISONERS!
Applications to the prosecutor’s office and the execution judge for the release of Ali Osman KÖSE were rejected. Since his release is compulsory for the right to life, we have made an application to the Constitutional Court for his release as a precautionary measure.
In this application, we explained that he would be operated on for a cancerous cyst in his kidney, that this tumor had grown to this extent because it was not noticed during its development, that post-operative care was not possible in prison conditions, and we asked him to be released because “his right to life is in danger”.
Although this application was filed on April 1, the Constitutional Court made its decision only in June, after Ali Osman Köse had an operation in which he could lose his life, and one kidney and adrenal gland were removed. In its decision, it relied on the unrealistic justification that “the applicant had the opportunity to access health services, and that there was no knowledge that there was a serious danger to his life”.
However, this application regarding the right to life should have been handled much more quickly. Moreover, how can it be said that he has the opportunity to access health services despite the doctors who say that the cyst in his kidney can only form in 2-4 years?
What kind of access to health care can be mentioned in the conditions where the so-called very urgent surgery can be performed in only 2 months, and the post-operative dressing is done by the temporary companion, saying that there is no doctor in the infirmary?
Are examinations of oncologists and urologists that do not detect a cyst in his kidney access to health care?
How can a life-threatening surgery, which requires the removal of an organ from his body, not pose a vital risk?
Hospitals, prison administrations, the Forensic Medicine Institute, offices of judge of execution, the Constitutional Court are signing the silent deaths of sick prisoners in isolation cells.
Prisons are not places for healthy treatment;
Isolation is the main reason that produces and magnifies the disease.
It is isolation that kills sick prisoners, not disease.
The revenge-annihilation policies directed at sick prisoners are killing.
FREEDOM FOR SICK PRISONERS!
FREEDOM FOR ALI OSMAN KÖSE!
