Internationalist and comrade of the resistance of people of Turkey Ippazio Antonio Luceri started on solidarity hunger strike as of 23rd June 2022.
In his statement Ippazio said; “SOLIDARITY with Turkish activists Sibel BALAÇ and Gökhan YILDIRIM, respectively convicted, the first one to 8 and a half years and the second to 46 years in prison, from TODAY I too go on HUNGER STRIKE, together with the two Turkish comrades. Sibel started it on December 19, 2021 (day 186); Gökhan on December 25, 2021 (180th day).
Fellow INTERNATIONALISTS, let show our support in this campaign of civility, justice and SOLIDARITY. Everyone should do as they BEST believe, on my part … in this way forward… FREEDOM for Sibel and Gökhan. With a closed fist. Pati- Ippazio Antonio Luceri”.
Death Fast Resistance of Sibel Balaç and Gökhan Yıldırım started with a demand of justice and fair trial. Their resistance reaching a critical stage and international solidarity is building outside of Turkey.
As Anti-Imperialist Front we salute the stand and solidarity Ippazio has shown.
