We held a panel in Rome on the 23rd day of the Long March. Many people in Italy attended the panel we did. Participants in the panel asked why and on what grounds 333 years prison sentences were given. We also explained the reasons for these decisions. And we talked about why we decided on the Long March. 11 revolutionaries from Turkey were not given a fair trial. In line with the instructions of the US imperialism and Turkish fascism, the Greek state sentenced 11 revolutionaries to a total of 333 years. While making this decision, the court considered making a victory sign, shouting slogans, and living in the same house as evidence of membership in the organization.
We do not accept this decision. The socialism on trial here is the struggle for revolution. We will continue to fight against these decisions regarding our values. We are telling these unlawfulnesses to all the peoples of the world, and we will continue to do so. That is, until 11 revolutionaries from Turkey were given a fair trial and regained their freedom.
On the 24th day of the Long March, we held a seminar at the PCARC association for 11 revolutionaries from Turkey, who were imprisoned in Greece, in Turin, with the participation of 7 people. A member of the Solidarity Committee for Political Prisoners in Peru also attended the seminar. Burak Ağarmış, one of the free prisoners of Greece, attended by phone and talked about the injustices and injustices in the case. After the seminar, together with the participants, solidarity videos were shot for 11 revolutionaries in Greece, sick prisoners in Peru and Turkey, Ali Osman Köse, hunger strikers Sibel Balaç and Gökhan Yıldırım.
