On 28 February 2026, a primary school in the town of Minab, Iran, was bombed by US imperialism.
As a result of the massacre, 168 primary school pupils, including two teachers, were killed.
The missiles fired at the school tore the children’s bodies apart so completely that their families were unable to recognise their own children.
The families, who gathered the shattered remains of their children from beneath the rubble, were only able to identify them by their school backpacks.
The Until Victory Delegation set out on the Justice March to Iran on 19 June 2026 in memory of the 168 primary school children brutally and mercilessly murdered by US imperialism.
Throughout the march, they organised actions across Europe and, wherever they went, they proclaimed:
“WE DEMAND JUSTICE FOR THE 168 MURDERED PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN! WE ARE GOING TO IRAN FOR JUSTICE!”
The centre of the world is wherever resistance exists.
Today, the centre of the world is Iran, where resistance against American imperialism continues.
After Palestine, we are once again travelling to another centre of the world’s resistance.
Throughout the long march, participants sang Grup Yorum’s song “Minab 168”, written in memory of the 168 primary school children murdered in Minab, together with the Iranian folk song “Khune Arghavanha”, at events held across Europe.

GREECE – ATHENS

Having begun the Justice March to Iran on 19 June 2026, the Until Victory Delegation reached Athens, Greece, on the first day of the long march.
The demonstration held in front of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran began with Grup Yorum’s song Minab 168, followed by a minute’s silence. After the commemoration, tribute was paid to the honourable resistance against imperialism, the victory of the Iranian people was saluted, and the martyrs were remembered.
Representatives of the Iranian Embassy also attended the demonstration and delivered a speech. They began by thanking those who had organised the long march in solidarity with the Iranian people.
Delegation members delivered speeches in Greek, English and Turkish. In each speech, they called for the strengthening and expansion of the Anti-Imperialist Front against US imperialism, which they described as the principal enemy of the peoples of the world.
Referring to NATO’s plans to establish an army corps in Türkiye, they stated:
“We want to go to Iran in order to prevent Turkish territory from being used by NATO as a base for massacres and to prevent new Minabs from taking place.”
Representatives of the Elektra Apostolou People’s Front, the West Asia Friendship Association, and the newspaper Iskra also addressed the gathering, expressing their support for both the long march and the resistance of the Iranian people.
At the conclusion of the demonstration, sweets were distributed to celebrate the victory of Iran and the defeat of US imperialism.
FRANCE – PARIS / MARSEILLE
21 June 2026 – 24 June 2026
The second stop of the Justice March to Iran was Paris, where the Until Victory Delegation met with representatives of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, the delegation explained the programme and objectives of the long march. They also provided information regarding the programme they intended to carry out in Iran. Grup Yorum’s song Minab 168 was played. The embassy representatives were deeply moved both by the delegation’s presentation and by Grup Yorum’s Minab 168.
The delegation also held a panel discussion at the Zehra Kurtay Resistance Tent in Paris concerning the journey to Iran.
At the panel, Yıldıray Yetik, speaking on behalf of European Dev-Genç, Derya Devrim Özçelik, on behalf of People’s Cinema, and İdil Vural, representing the Anti-Imperialist Front, spoke about the resistance and victory of Iran, imperialist aggression, anti-imperialist struggles throughout the world, and NATO’s plans to establish an army corps in Türkiye.
At the conclusion of the panel, the Persian folk song Khune Arghavanha and Grup Yorum’s Minab 168 were performed.
Iranian participants attending the panel expressed their gratitude to the Until Victory Delegation.
Demonstration Against Racism in Paris
On 21 June, the Until Victory Delegation participated in a demonstration against racism held in Paris, France. Seven members of the delegation took part.
During the demonstration, the delegation displayed banners opposing NATO’s attempts to transform Türkiye into a base for massacres. They also distributed leaflets concerning the Justice March to Iran.
FRANCE – MARSEILLE

On Tuesday, 23 June, the Until Victory Delegation held a panel discussion in Marseille.
The panel, attended by approximately twenty people, addressed the march organised in support of Iran, imperialist aggression, and the proposed establishment of an army corps in Türkiye.
Delegation members Azad Mehmet Gömül, Berfin Özder, Derya Devrim Özçelik, and Hasip Kıvrakdal delivered presentations.
The panel began with a one-minute silence and tribute in memory of the peoples of Palestine, Iran, and Yemen, who had lost their lives resisting imperialist aggression, as well as all revolutionary martyrs throughout the world who had fallen in the struggle against imperialism.
Following the presentations, participants’ questions were answered, and views were exchanged regarding current struggles both internationally and in Türkiye.
Hasip Kıvrakdal stated:
“One hundred and sixty-eight primary school children were brutally murdered. Tehran was bombed and continues to be bombed. Before this, imperialism carried out massacres, occupations and attacks across the world—in Vietnam, Cuba, Korea, Laos, throughout Latin America, Afghanistan, Palestine, Africa, Libya, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and, in recent years, Venezuela. These are, of course, clear and visible examples of imperialist occupation. As far as we are concerned, if we speak of Anatolia, we can also see that it remains under imperialist occupation.”
On the following day, 24 June 2026, the Until Victory Delegation participated in a demonstration held in Marseille in support of Palestine.
The demonstration was organised in solidarity with individuals in Marseille who had been declared criminals, investigated, prosecuted, detained or imprisoned because of their solidarity with Palestine.
During the demonstration, the delegation also expressed solidarity with Lidia and Diego, members of SuperNova and the Anti-Imperialist Front, whose homes had been raided and who had been detained on the grounds that they were communists. The delegation distributed leaflets concerning their case and conducted an interview.
The Until Victory Delegation Saluted the Victory of Aristoteles Chantzis
During the Justice March to Iran, the Until Victory Delegation saluted Aristoteles Chantzis, who had undertaken a hunger strike in Athens in opposition to the planned eviction of the Prosfygika occupied houses through urban redevelopment and who had concluded his resistance in victory the previous day.
The delegation honoured him by performing “Lament for the Son”, composed by Mikis Theodorakis and performed by Grup Yorum, and celebrated his victory.
Following the end of his resistance, Aristoteles Chantzis’ health deteriorated significantly.
The delegation declared:
“Resist, Aristoteles! This time, resist death itself! Come, let us celebrate your victory together! We love you very much!”
SPAIN – BARCELONA
25 June 2026 – 28 June 2026
On 25 June 2026, two days before the People’s Unity Summit Against NATO, the Until Victory Delegation arrived in Barcelona in order to carry out preparatory work.
On 27 June 2026, the People’s Summit Against NATO, organised by the People’s Front Türkiye and the Anti-Imperialist Front, commenced.
More than forty organisations participated in the summit.
Day One
The summit began with a minute’s silence in memory of revolutionaries and peoples who had been killed by imperialism.
In the opening speeches, representatives of the People’s Front and the Until Victory Delegation spoke about the anti-imperialist struggle in Anatolia, the plans of US imperialism concerning Anatolia, and the bloody occupations that these plans would bring about. They welcomed all those participating in the summit.
The Until Victory Delegation also referred to the attacks against Iran and to the 168 children murdered in Minab, calling for solidarity with everyone who resists imperialism.
The first session, entitled “Let Us Build the Anti-Imperialist Front Against NATO’s Wars and Imperialist and Zionist Aggression”, was chaired by a representative of the Anti-Imperialist Front.
Speakers included representatives from:
- the Basque Country,
- the Palestinian Association, and
- the former Consul of Bolivia in Barcelona.
The participants discussed NATO’s aggressive policies in Anatolia, Lebanon, Palestine, and Latin America, and called for unity and common struggle against NATO and imperialism.
Video messages were also presented from representatives of:
- Belarus,
- Russia’s Borotba Movement,
- the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) in Gaza,
- the Ansarullah Government in Yemen,
- and representatives from several other countries.
Following a short break, the second session commenced.
Entitled “Let Us Organise the Common Front Against NATO, the War Organisation of Imperialism”, it included representatives from:
- People’s Front Türkiye
- Catalonia Association Against NATO and Imperialism
- Antiimperialistas.com
- Basque Anti-Imperialist Platform
- Popular Action Greece
- Greek Coalition of Anti-NATO Organisations
- Galician Revolutionary Communists
- A representative of the working class from Asturias
The session was marked by great enthusiasm. Speakers from every country emphasised the importance of common struggle and international solidarity against NATO and imperialism.
Day Two
On 28 June 2026, the second and final day of the People’s Unity Summit Against NATO took place.
Organisations participating either in person or by video included:
- José Martí Association of Cubans in Catalonia
- People’s Law Office – International Office
- All-African People’s Revolutionary Party
- National Front for the Struggle for Socialism (Mexico)
- Communist Party of Mexico
- Second Independence Movement (Argentina)
During the session, examples of colonialism and neo-colonialism in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Türkiye were presented, together with discussions on how these neo-colonial relations should be confronted.
Following the session, a break was held during which a draft declaration was prepared.
The declaration was subsequently read from the platform by the organisations that had organised the summit and was received with great enthusiasm and prolonged applause.
All of the organising organisations—including the People’s Front, the Anti-Imperialist Front, and Grup Yorum—delivered closing speeches calling for the strengthening of the common struggle against the American Empire, imperialism, and its armed wing, NATO.
Participants were then invited to propose additions or amendments to the declaration. However, despite repeated requests from the moderators, most speakers used the opportunity not to propose amendments but rather to stress the importance of the summit and the necessity of uniting against NATO and imperialism.
At a time when, according to the organisers, the political left has largely removed NATO and imperialism from its agenda, the summit succeeded in becoming a source of hope and morale. It brought together fifty organisations from four continents, united around the determination to confront NATO and to struggle collectively against imperialism and the American Empire.
The final event of the summit focused on art, which, according to the organisers, imperialism and NATO seek to use through massive investment as an instrument for influencing public consciousness.
Following performances by two local groups, the Until Victory Delegation performed two Iranian folk songs as a choir, after which Grup Yorum took the stage.
Accompanied by songs and traditional dances, the participants joined together in chanting:
“America Is the Enemy!”
The People’s Unity Summit Against NATO, characterised by enthusiasm and hope, lasted for two days.
In total, representatives of fifty organisations addressed the summit, and more than 500 people attended.
BELGIUM – LIÈGE / BRUSSELS
30.06.2026 – 01.06.2026
The “Until Victory” Delegation, the fifth stop of its long march, arrived in Brussels on June 30 and visited the Iranian Embassy.
In front of the embassy, anti-NATO banners and banners prepared for the 168 children killed in Minab were displayed, and red flags were waved. Embassy employees welcomed the delegation members in an extremely warm and positive manner.
Afterwards, a meeting was held with embassy representatives in the embassy garden. While expressing their solidarity with the Iranian people’s resistance, they explained the purpose of the delegation and the goals of the march they are carrying out in order to reach Iran.
BELGIUM – LIÈGE
01.06.2026
On July 1, the “Until Victory” Delegation reached its sixth stop in Liège, Belgium, and participated in an action organized by the “Coordination Resistance” alliance.
The first speech from the delegation was given by Hasip Kıvrakdal from the “Association for Fundamental Rights and Freedoms.” Beginning his speech with a one-minute silence, Kıvrakdal then gave information about the “Until Victory” Delegation and explained the stops the delegation had passed through so far.
Afterwards, Konstantina Kartsioti, a delegation member and representative of the “Anti-Imperialist Front,” gave a speech in English. She explained why solidarity with the Iranian people is important today and that every blow struck against imperialism is a victory for us and for the peoples of the world.
Afterwards, a panel was held at the Halk-Mer Association in Liège, Belgium. The approximately 40 participants were informed about why we need to go to Iran, the massacre headquarters that NATO wants to establish in our country, the victory of the Iranian people, and how the journey goes from one resistance centre to another, referring to the so-called “well-type prisons” as centres of resistance.
After the question-and-answer session of the panel, the event ended with the Persian folk song “Argavanha” and the song “Minab”, composed by Group Yorum.
NETHERLANDS – THE HAGUE
02.07.2026
The “Until Victory” Delegation was in The Hague, the seventh stop of its journey, and on July 2 held a meeting with the embassy in the Netherlands.
The embassy was aware of the delegation and welcomed the meeting positively. The delegation explained its long march, why, how and for what purpose they were travelling to Iran.
After the meeting, English-language leaflets titled “We are going to Iran” were distributed in the centre of The Hague.
NETHERLANDS – AMSTERDAM
03.07.2026
On Friday, July 3, the “Until Victory” Delegation organized an action at Dam Square in Amsterdam, its eighth stop.
The action took place with music, slogans and speeches. The speeches were given in English and Dutch. During the speeches, it was explained that the “Until Victory” Delegation was established under the leadership of the People’s Front last year to travel to Palestine, that they were detained and tortured in Egypt and deported, and that afterwards they travelled to Lebanon and Mexico. The delegation’s journey to Iran and the reasons for it were explained. It was stated:
“We are going to Iran to demand justice for the 168 children killed in Minab.”
It was emphasized that imperialism and Zionism have killed more than 50,000 children in Palestine today, and that on the first day of the war in Iran they brutally killed 168 female and male students with Tomahawk missiles. It was stressed that we must stand in solidarity with Iran today, without waiting until 50,000 children are killed.
It was said:
“We are going to Iran so that those who kill Iranian children with missiles today do not kill our children tomorrow. Because their victory is the victory of the peoples of the world.”
The speech ended with a call for everyone to demand justice for the children killed in Minab, Iran.
The action lasted two and a half hours. After the action ended, participants spoke with the delegation, asked questions and expressed their support.
GERMANY – BOCHUM / COLOGNE
05.07.2026 – 07.07.2026
On July 4, 2026, the “Until Victory” Delegation arrived in Germany, the final stop of its long march.
The following day, July 5, they participated in an action held in front of the Turkish Consulate. The action was organized in memory of revolutionary Gürkan Türkoğlu, who died as a martyr on July 5, 2026, after being kept in intensive care for days due to torture inflicted by collaborating doctors through forced medical intervention.
Türkoğlu had resisted Turkey’s “Type-F” prison system and had begun an indefinite hunger strike demanding transfer to another prison. His hunger strike ended victoriously on its 266th day, but he later lost his life due to the torture caused by the forced intervention carried out by collaborating doctors.
After the action, they participated in the “Ashure” (Noah’s Pudding) event organized by the Anatolian Alevi Committee at the resistance tent established against the Office for the Protection of the Constitution and the BKA (Federal Criminal Police Office), located at Ruhr University Bochum in the city of Bochum, Germany.
During the event they attended, they explained why they would travel to Iran and stated that going to Iran is a necessity for every anti-imperialist person.
Following the speeches, the song “Minab 168” by Group Yorum was performed by members of the delegation.
They said goodbye to the participating families, and the following day they travelled to Cologne, the final stop of the long march.
GERMANY – COLOGNE

After completing the long march in Europe that they had begun for the 168 girls who were killed in Iran, the “Until Victory” Delegation set out to stand alongside the Iranian people.
ARREST AT COLOGNE/BONN AIRPORT

On 28 February 2026, Iran’s legitimate leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed by American imperialism. On 7 July 2026, the “Until Victory” Delegation departed from Cologne/Bonn Airport to attend Khamenei’s funeral.
The members of the “Until Victory” Delegation were detained by the German Federal Police without explanation during passport control at Cologne/Bonn Airport. Delegation members who had already passed through passport control were taken back to the customs area and forced to wait for hours under the pretext of a baggage inspection.
The officers searched the luggage using police dogs. The German police then detained the delegation members and confiscated the passports of those who had already passed through passport control.

All of the delegation members were detained and, according to the delegation, subjected to torture by the German police, including being dragged along the ground while handcuffed behind their backs.
The “Until Victory” Delegation, which was travelling to Iran via Armenia, was prevented from boarding its flight due to the actions of the German authorities. After being held unlawfully and without justification for several hours, the delegation announced that it would reach Iran under all circumstances and continue its resistance.
A Message from the “Until Victory” Delegation
The “Until Victory” Delegation, while still being held at Cologne/Bonn Airport, declared:
“As long as we carry the pain and anger of the Iranian people in our hearts, they cannot break our morale through detentions, nor can they intimidate us. We will go to Iran.”
The members of the delegation, who were held without justification by the collaborating police of German imperialism and consequently missed their flight, declared that despite all pressure and detentions they would travel to Iran and would never abandon their path. According to the delegation, it was after making this declaration that they were subjected to torture by the police.
During their detention, the delegation members were subjected to an attempted strip search. Viewing this practice as an attack on human dignity, the members of the “Until Victory” Delegation refused to comply and resisted the strip search.
A Further Message from the “Until Victory” Delegation
“Even if German imperialism usurps our right to travel, WE WILL GO TO IRAN. WE WILL RAISE OUR DEMAND FOR JUSTICE FOR THE 168 MINAB PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN WHO WERE MASSACRED EVERYWHERE. EVERYTHING IS FOR THE 168 MINAB PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN WHO WERE KILLED.”

Approximately five hours after their detention, the members of the “Until Victory” Delegation who had been subjected to torture by the collaborating police of German imperialism were released.

“WE WILL DEFINITELY GO TO IRAN!”
All members of the “Until Victory” Delegation, with the exception of Celal Kaya, were released.
Following their release, the delegation stated:
“We will definitely go to Iran.”
After arriving at Cologne/Bonn Airport to travel to Armenia, the members of the “Until Victory” Delegation passed through passport control before being arbitrarily detained for several hours without any explanation. As a result, they were prevented from travelling to Armenia. According to the delegation, the only reason for this was their intention to continue their journey to Iran.
In protest against what they regarded as an unlawful violation of their rights, the delegation began a sit-in protest inside the airport. According to the delegation, immediately after they decided to resist, they were assaulted and detained by the German police.
During their detention, the delegation members state that they were subjected to rear handcuffing, leg restraints, severe physical violence, strip searches, forced fingerprinting and photography. They further allege that police officers stated:
“It is enough if they can only breathe.”
Despite these events, the “Until Victory” Delegation declared immediately after their release that they had not abandoned their determination to travel to Iran.
Although the other delegation members were released late that night, British citizen Celal Kaya remained in detention at the Cologne/Bonn Airport Police Station.
Throughout the night, Kaya’s friends remained at the airport seeking information from the authorities. However, despite repeated enquiries, they received only responses such as:
“We don’t know. We are waiting for instructions. The situation will become clear.”
No information regarding Kaya’s situation was provided either to his friends or to his lawyers, although it was believed that he was to be deported to the United Kingdom.
The German police not only refused to provide information to Kaya’s friends but also prevented lawyers who wished to meet him and provide legal assistance. They stated that only lawyers holding a formal power of attorney could meet him or receive information about his case.
As Celal Kaya was a British citizen and did not have a lawyer with power of attorney in Germany, the delegation argues that his right to legal representation was also violated.
On 8 July 2026, one day after his fellow delegation members had been released, Celal Kaya was deported to the United Kingdom under the escort of two German police officers.
Celal Kaya later stated that he was taken to Frankfurt Airport, where he was allegedly subjected to torture and forcibly strip searched.

The “Until Victory” Delegation announced that it would continue its journey to Iran and would not abandon its objective despite the events at Cologne/Bonn Airport.
