ON OCTOBER 8, WE ARE GOING TO CAIRO TO REACH GAZA
OPEN RAFAH CROSSING– LET US PASS!
We, the members of the Until Victory Delegation, formed at the call of the People’s Front (Halk Cephesi), which wages an anti-imperialist and anti-fascist struggle in Turkey, set out from Berlin on September 20 under the slogan “Palestine, We Are Coming!” to go to Gaza, which has been under occupation and blockade for two years.
We have passed through 13 cities in 9 European countries, and we have now reached Athens.
On October 8, we will go from Athens to Egypt. From there, we will head to the Rafah border crossing and demand that the gate be opened!
Our march carries the heartbeat of the people of Gaza — people who have been besieged for two years, facing bombs, bullets, and starvation used as weapons in a campaign of occupation and genocide designed to annihilate and break them.
When we set out, we said:
“Where there is resistance, there lies the center of the world.”
People’s Front prisoners in Turkey resist the torture of isolation in “Pit-Type” prisons (S, R, Y-Type and High-Security prisons) with hunger strikes, while the Palestinian people resist Israel’s genocide and occupation.
Not only today, but for 77 years, Palestine has resisted occupation. For more than two years now, genocide has been taking place before the eyes of the entire world — and children are being killed not only by bombs and bullets but also by hunger.
We are traveling from one center of resistance to another — from the Well-Type prisons to Gaza — to build a bridge between struggles and to strengthen hope and resistance.
Imperialism and Zionism are using hunger as a weapon against the people of Gaza, just as the Nazis and German fascists did in Leningrad.
Our struggle is not only against bombs, planes, and tanks — but also against hunger, occupation, and despair.
Our destination is Gaza; our route is resistance.
From Berlin to Rafah — to the border of Palestine, to the beating heart of the world — we are going to Gaza.
Since the day we began, we have crossed borders together with hundreds of people carrying one demand:
Open the Rafah Border Crossing – End the Occupation!
Our route brought us through Berlin, Duisburg, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels, Paris, Bilbao in the Basque Country, Madrid, Barcelona in Catalonia, Marseille, Milan, Lecce, and Patras — to Athens.
Everywhere we stepped, we met people who joined us, carrying with them hope and belief as they chanted:
“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!”

What have we done along our route so far?
In every European country where there are Egyptian diplomatic missions, we have held demonstrations in front of embassies and consulates. We have tried to deliver our demands to the Egyptian government — verbally or in writing.
Most importantly, we have conveyed these demands to the peoples of the world.
What are our demands?
The Rafah Border Crossing must be opened immediately.
Our delegation must be allowed to cross into Gaza.
The blockade and embargo imposed on Gaza must be lifted.
The policy of starvation and death by hunger imposed on the people of Gaza must end.
Our call to the Egyptian government:
Do not close your gates on Gaza, which Israel seeks to subdue with the weapon of hunger.
Do not be complicit in Israel’s crimes.
Allow the passage of our delegation, which carries the voices and will of the peoples of the world!
We continue our march with these demands.
And now, we are in Athens — our final stop before reaching our goal.
From here, on October 8, 2025, we will fly to Cairo, continue toward the Rafah Border Crossing, and finally reach Gaza — the beating heart of the world — to embrace the Palestinian people who, amid blood and tears, in the lap of hunger, continue to resist, saying:
“Better to die of hunger than to live without a homeland!”
Open the gates!
They destroyed and burned everything…
We, the peoples of the world, together with the Palestinian people, will rebuild — we will rebuild!
“We are going to give life to the people of Palestine — the peoples of the world, our lives are entrusted to you!”
As the Until Victory Delegation,
We call on all the peoples of the world to gather on October 8 in front of Egyptian embassies and consulates.
We call on international, regional, and local media organizations to report on the actions of our delegation, which is fulfilling such a historic responsibility.
The eyes of the world must witness the march of the peoples demanding an end to the occupation and the opening of the Rafah crossing.
We call on all journalists, reporters, and media workers around the world:
Carry our message. Amplify the voices of those besieged in Gaza!
THE GATES WILL OPEN – FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA, PALESTINE WILL BE FREE!
