“THE LIVES OF THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE ARE ENTRUSTED TO US, OUR LIVES ARE ENTRUSTED TO YOU!”

“AGAINST OCCUPATION, GENOCIDE, AND THE USE OF HUNGER AS A WEAPON IN GAZA, WE ARE GOING TO PALESTINE TO STRENGTHEN INTERNATIONALIST SOLIDARITY AND STRUGGLE, TO NURTURE HOPE AND RESISTANCE” — THE “UNTIL VICTORY DELEGATION” CONTINUES ITS PALESTINE MARCH ON ITS 11TH DAY WITH ENTHUSIASM AND DETERMINATION.

The “Until Victory Delegation,” composed of members from the People’s Front (Europe), Dev-Genç (Europe), Grup Yorum workers, the Association for Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, People’s Cinema workers, the Anti-Imperialist Front, and the International Office of the People’s Law Bureau, set off for Palestine after holding a spirited demonstration in Berlin on September 20.

In their call, the members of the Until Victory Delegation traveling to Palestine said:

“We owe Palestinian children a world where they are not massacred. That is why we are going to Palestine. We believe that the resisting people of Palestine and the resisting peoples of Turkey will be free, and with this belief we are going. Our lives are entrusted to you. We are heading towards the collaborationist Egyptian state. Our only guarantee is our people. Trusting our people, we go. We entrust our lives to you. The lives of the Palestinian people are entrusted to us, our lives are entrusted to you. Make our voices heard!”

Departing from Berlin on September 20, the Until Victory Delegation is continuing its journey through a total of 10 countries and 15 cities — Berlin (Germany), Düsseldorf (Germany), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Brussels (Belgium), Paris (France), Bilbao (Basque Country), Madrid (Spain), Barcelona (Catalonia), Marseille (France), Milan (Italy), Lecce (Italy), Rome (Italy), Patras (Greece), and Athens (Greece). Palestinians supported the speech with drums and slogans.
  • On behalf of Dev-Genç in Europe, Yıldıray Yetik saluted Palestinian martyrs, Ahmad Saadat, and all resisting peoples worldwide, saying: “We are walking from one center to another,” also saluting Serkan Onur Yılmaz.

  • Yıldıray Yetik (Dev-Genç, Europe) spoke of 77 years of occupation and two years of genocide, quoting Che Guevara: “Every victory against imperialism is a victory for the peoples of the world; its defeat is the defeat of all peoples.”

About 30 people attended, chanting: “From Serkan to Ahmad: Freedom for Prisoners!” in solidarity with Palestinian and Turkish political prisoners.

Later in Rotterdam, the delegation participated in a panel with representatives of the People’s Law Bureau International Office, Grup Yorum, and the Dutch People’s Front.

  • Sevil Sevimli Güler declared: “We are the comrades of Mahir Çayan. Answering George Ibrahim Abdallah’s call, we as revolutionaries from Turkey are going to Palestine, to Gaza.”

Their second stop in Brussels was the Egyptian Consulate, where a press statement condemned Egypt’s collaboration with Israel in blocking solidarity with the Palestinian people and demanded that Rafah be opened. Belgian People’s Front members joined in support.

Later, in front of the Egyptian Consulate in a heavily Jewish district, they held a protest despite French police attempts to stop them. Delegation members told the police: “We came here to demand the opening of the collaborationist Egyptian border gate. We came knowing the risks. We will end our protest on our own terms. If you attack, we will resist.” The police were forced to let them continue after identity checks.

In the evening, the delegation joined a panel on Palestine. At the end, participants expressed support: “We need pioneers like you in Paris,” and “You will go ahead, and we will follow you.”
