George Ibrahim Abdallah’s release court has been adjourned until December 19.
To protest this, we participated in the protest at the Secuors Rouge Marseille and also in support of Abdallah.
Greece
More than 10,000 people took part in the demonstration in Athens on December 6th. On 6/12/2008, a day of remembrance for Alexis Grigoropoulos, a 15-year-old anarchist student who was killed by police in Exarcheia, Athens, 16 years ago.
This year we also demanded the immediate release of Alexis’ best friend and comrade, political prisoner Nikos Romanos, from prison.
The Anti-Imperialist Front also joined the demonstration together with the Solidarity Committee for Nikos Romanos!

In Paris, “A section of the history of resistance in Turkey” was told.
A presentation was made on the June uprising and Grup Yorum’s Death Fast resistance.

At the Faculty of Law in Athens, EKPA students organized a panel discussion on “police brutality, state policies against the people and injustice”.
As a speaker, Konstantina Kartsioti emphasized that the powers of the police have been expanded with the new laws in Greece and how reckless the anti-terror police have become, such as installing hidden cameras.
She also spoke on the significance of the 06 December 2008 uprising and the case of Nikos Romanos.

The AIF interviewed Ilia Lobjanidze, a representative of the Georgian Socialist Platform, on the latest coup attempt by imperialism.
December 12, 2024
We also participated in the 1-day hunger strike “Hunger for justice” organized for Gaza with the call of the Irish organization “Troscsdh ar sin na coral”.
In Ireland, 1450 people participated, including 4 people who went on hunger strike with Bobby Sands.
The call of the Irish was joined by families from the AIF, the Popular Front and TAYAD.
A total of more than 150 people heeded the call.

On the anniversary of the massacre, in Minsk on December 19, 2000, the film Type F was shown.
Before the screening, the message of the producer and actors İnan and Selma Altın was screened.
The screening was attended by 11 people.
They had heard about this massacre in Turkey and the resistance of the revolutionaries for the first time and they were very surprised.

A solidarity panel with Nikos Romanos was held in Athens, the capital of Greece, for the Greek revolutionary Nikos Romanos and all political prisoners who were unjustly and unlawfully tried in the Ampelokipol case. Konstantina Kartsioti, the AIF representative in Athens, was one of the speakers.
Approximately 100 people attended the event, where the importance of solidarity with political prisoners was emphasized.

We took part in a protest in front of Korydallos prison in Athens, Greece, for the change of year.
Happy New Year, full of struggle and resistance against imperialism and injustice. Freedom for all political prisoners and Palestine! Freedom for Nikos Romanos, Marianna, Dimitra, Dimitris, Kostas Sakkas and all the political prisoners of Korydallos! 300 people took part in the action.
Solidarity is the weapon of the peoples!
Germany
We were in front of Berlin’s Moabit Prison for the New Year’s Demonstration.
Every New Year’s Eve, we gather in front of the prisons in Berlin to show solidarity with the prisoners and demand freedom for political prisoners and an end to isolation and torture.
This year, a banner reading “Being a revolutionary is a duty, not a crime!” and “End to 129b! End 129b!” and pictures of the revolutionary prisoners İhsan Cibelik and Özgül Emre who were imprisoned in Germany.
We chanted slogans such as “Freedom for All Political Prisoners”, “Freedom for Özgül Emre and İhsan Cibelik”, “Marianna and Dimitra, Stay Strong Until Freedom!”.
About 200 people attended.
Vienna
At the New Year’s celebration in Vienna, which was also attended by comrades from Turkey and Austrian comrades, 20 postcards were written or signed to send Ayten Öztürk to prison and to the Constitutional Court in Turkey and to demand justice!
Freedom for Ayten!
