1) Can you explain us the situation in Georgia now? We believe that EU-US imperialism attacks and organized “color revolution” for their profits.

On November 28, PM of Ruling party of Georgia (Georgian Dream) Irakli Kobakhidze announced the decision to suspend the accession process of EU membership until 2028, adding that association treaty was still pursued, only membership accession negotiation and receivement of EU grants would be suspended. Georgia–European Union Association Agreement facilitates cooperation in areas like trade, political dialogue, and sectoral policies, aiming to align Georgia more closely with EU standards.

Western world has joined forces to overthrow the government in Georgia, US suspended strategic partnership, today UK announced sanctions, EU countries and parliament members don’t hold punches. We expect suspension of visa liberalization we EU.

Kobakhidze stated that accession process and EU grants were used as blackmail instrument against Georgia for last years and this decision was made to minimize the blackmail opportunities.

Ιn July 2024, EU Ambassador to Georgia, Paweł Herczyński, announced that the European Union had halted Georgia’s accession process and frozen €30 million in assistance to the country’s Defense Ministry.

This fact was also mentioned by Kobakhidze, saying that it was EU who first made this decision and Georgia only mirrored it, adding that if EU decides to open the talks Georgia would also change it’s position.

Following this decision, The USA suspended it’s strategic partnership treaty with Georgia.

2) The situation in Georgia with demonstrations that supporting the collaboration with EU is very similar with Euromaidan in Ukraine at 2014. Can you tell us your opinion about this?

The scenario is almost the same with Ukraine, even comically exact in some cases (Christmas tree episode with pictures and so on) The threat of maidan is real and it will lead to collapse and destruction of the country if successful.

The protests are held daily, in different regions but, Tbilisi is of course epicenter and most violent ones. By my estimates, regularly there are no more than 20-25 Thousand people in it’s peak.

Most protesters are peaceful, though there are highly violent protesters also, using molotovs, fireworks, stones. Building barricades with city infrastructure (payboxes, trashbins etc)

There’s suspiciously high number of foreign nationals also, inlcuding: Ukrainians, Brits, Americans and other European countries.

The working class as organized force (Central trade unions, independent trade unions, initiative groups, miners, metallurgist, metropolitan workers and etc) don’t support the protests or even are publicly against them. There are of course some workers who attend the protests but not as an organized force, just individually.

It’s mostly organized by party affiliated or western ideologized NGOs, and are encouraged by EU and US officials and their statements. The self-proclaimed leader is the president Salome Zurabishvili.

The only left that is supporting the protests are Liberal left intellectuals or Pro-western left organizations, also some left student movements.

The students are encouraged by professors to abandon studies and join the protests.

The organizers now openly try to bring children from schools to protests, the president even posted about it on her X (twitter) account.

The Geo fighters in Ukraine really published a video addressing the president to form National Guard in which they’d join but, they haven’t (as far as I know) come to Georgia yet.

3) How much important tool is the disinformation in the hands of EU-US media?

Disinformation is very effective, as after the collapse of the USSR the only “truth” was what came from the west and everything else was propaganda, children were raised in this environment. So now even the smallest critique by a lowest ranking opportunist from the EU is considered true. And as our corporate media is just stenographers for EU and US this joint effort is what has biggest effect.

These are western encouraged and supported protests which they are handling with their proxies in Georgia, NGOs, affiliated and recruited diplomats and intellectuals and Political parties.

These protests were forced beforehand by the government. In my opinion, the security services had the information that these processes had to start mid December (When this president has to leave the office and new one is already pre-elected). And they forced the pro-EU masses come out several weeks earlier, before thoroughly planning or even bringing back the fighters mentioned above.

Taking in mind the positions of the EU and US political leaders (Despite OSCE announcing readiness to work with newly elected government) this is a color revolution attempt.

If the attempt is successful Russian intervention is almost inevitable, as Georgia after 2008 is almost demilitarized RF will strike before NATO infrastructure will be set.

And that would be the “second front”, for some reason when talking about second front, people think that Georgia has to attack Russia, which is absurd… In reality Pro NATO coup is enough to force Russia to act and after Georgia is destroyed write articles about another “unprovoked attack” by Russia on it’s peaceful neighbor.
