A warm greeting to the Turkish comrades!
I recently organized a fundraiser to support political prisoners in Turkey. Why did I decide to do this?
I cannot call myself a great communist, I lack the scientific and political background to call myself that. However, I cannot afford to ignore the pain and grief of true fighters for justice. I am always ready to support those who advocate peace and creation. This is what I saw in the Turkish comrades, but those who rule decided to break their free spirit.
The communists advocated an alternative solution, which concerns the Kurdish issue, in my opinion, it is difficult for modern Turkey. For expressing an alternative opinion (and a constructive one at that), their freedom was limited. I think this is unfair.
This injustice touched a raw nerve in my circle as well. You can’t ignore someone else’s pain. Indifference is not a Human trait. That is why people close to me decided to actively help the Turkish comrades.
I am sure that the struggle of the Turkish communists is not in vain. With their actions, they draw the attention of Turkish society to serious problems, the main thing is that there is a dialogue or debate in which the truth is born. The wise men say: “The earth becomes stronger after the rain.” These words describe the feat of the Turkish comrades in the best possible way.
A strong land is a healthy land. So let the people be strong and united!
I want to wish the Turkish brothers a speedy liberation!
