At three o’clock this morning, AKP fascism abducted Nuriye Gülmen from Sincan Prison to Numune Hospital. Permission was not give for a refakatci (companion for hospital patients) or lawyers to see her. And friends or relatives are not allowed to see her in hospital!
This attack took place exactly two days before a court hearing and was done to take away the right to a defence and to practice force-feeding.
We call all our people and all peoples to go in front of Numune Hospital to give life to Nuriye and Semih!
Two days before Nuriye ve Semih’s September 14 court hearing, their lawyers were detained and a week later 14 of them were imprisoned.
And today, that is, two days before the second court hearing, the hunger strike resister Nuriye Gülmen was abducted to a hospital where there is the torture of force-feeding practised by the most experienced fascists dressed up in the medical gowns of doctors.
Today is also the anniversary of the Ulucanlar Prison massacre (1999). 10 revolutionary prisoners were massacred after hours of torture. This was the first massacre directed at the Death Fasters of the year 2000. We know this murderous state well from its prison cells and do not expect justice from it. Ours is a history written in blood!
Even if you try millions of times to intervene and erase our past, WE WILL NEVER FORGET OUR CARNATIONS OR OUR MARTYRS!
THEY CANNOT PREVENT US FROM SUPPORTING NURIYE AND SEMIH!
WE WILL CONTINUE TO SHOUT THEIR NAMES EVERYWHERE UNTIL VICTORY!
