URGENT CALL FOR 24 APRIL- FREEDOM FOR ALI OSMAN KÖSE
INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN – DAY OF SOLIDARITY
We call all the progressive, democratic people, all the strugglers, organisations for political prisoners and humans rights, committees of lawyers and doctors, to join our international campaign for Ali Osman Köse, a socialist struggler who was imprisoned in 1980, during the military junta in Turkey, backed by USA and has been in prisons for 37 years and in solitary confinement, F-Type cell, since 2000.
This imprisonment regime has ruined his health further and he got to the point where he could not be left alone. The independent medical opinion confirms that he cannot stand up without holding somewhere or being helped by someone. He can not even walk alone, nor can he wash his clothes, nor can he shower, nor can he eat. Although his health has deteriorated under conditions of isolation and he was unable to walk, the Forensic Medicine Institute reported that he could remain in prison. Even though there is a 9 cm cancerous mass in his kidney and immediate treatment is being deliberately prevented.
The prison and white cell environment further aggravates his condition. That is why we demand his immediate release due to his deteriorated health reasons.

24 NİSAN İÇİN ACİL ÇAĞRI – ALİ OSMAN KÖSE’YE ÖZGÜRLÜK
ULUSLARARASI KAMPANYA – DAYANIŞMA GÜNÜ
Ali Osman Köse, 1980 yılından beri tutsak, Türkiye’de askeri cunta dönemini yaşana o sosyalist bir devrimci, ABD tarafından desteklenen ve finanse edilen hapishanelerde 37 yıl hücre hapsinde kalmıştır, 2000 yılından itibaren F tipi hücrede tecrit altında kalmaktadır.
Uluslararası kampanyamıza katılmak için tüm ilerici avukatlar ve doktorlar, Demokrat insanlar, mücadele yürüten insanlar, siyasi tutuklular ve insan hakları örgütleri, Komitelere sesleniyoruz.
Yıllarca yaşadığı tutsaklık sağlığını daha da mahvetti ve yalnız bırakılamayacağı bir noktaya geldi. Bağımsız tıbbi görüş, bir yerde tutulmadan veya birileri tarafından yardım edilmeden ayağa kalkamayacağını doğrular. Yalnız bile yürüyemez, kıyafetlerini yıkayamaz, duş alamaz, yemek yiyemez. Tecrit koşulları altında sağlığı kötüleşmesine ve yürüyememesine rağmen, Adli Tıp Enstitüsü hapishanede kalabileceğini bildirdi. Böbreğinde 9 cm’lik kanserli bir kitle olmasına ve acil tedavinin kasıtlı olarak önlenmesine rağmen.
Hapishane ve F Tipici hücre ortamı durumunu daha da kötüleştiriyor. Bu yüzden kötüleşen sağlık nedenlerinden dolayı derhal serbest bırakılmasını talep ediyoruz.
