Today 47 years after the rebellion of Polytechnic, greekgoverment of New Democracy use methods of repression against the people, the workers,the youth and the student. Using as accusation Covid 19 for banning the demostration and the events of memory and honour for the martyrs that they fallt in this huge struggle. But student movement is still fighting against abolition of university asylum,the equalization of public university degrees with those of colleges, the expulsion of students, the authoritarianism of the rectory authorities, againsta class school, which reproduces the capitalist system of exploitation, which favors the few and impoverishes the many. That is why the Polytechnic is still alive and frightens the power of capital and its state. Because they know that the November uprising left something half-finished.
For all the known and unknown dead, tortured, prisoners of the dictatorship, the glow of the uprising radiates the image of the future. Because the Polytechnic belongs to all of them. To those who fought with the gun in hand, with the proclamation, with the newspaper. For the dead of the coup. For those who do not agree with the police blockade, which wanted to block the passage to the US embassy, so as to wash away the role of the USA in the coup.
Because the Polytechnic belongs to the people and the struggling youth and not to the respective governments,which are robbed of its meaning. Because the street of November is revolutionary, popular, youthful, uncompromising and irreconcilable. Especially in a historical era, where in every continent, in every country, in every corner of the earth, the imperialists and the bourgeis class are intensifying their attack against the popular strata, the peoples are entering the front line of the struggles of our time, they are resisting, they develop their own forms of struggle and resistance, they clash with the ends of capital.
Because even today they are tyrants of the people. That is why anti-imperialist movement needs to be built, which will send them into the history books. Because the same slogans are relevant again. GO OUT USA- GO OUT NATO, DOWN WITH FASCISM, PEOPLES REVOLUTION. To raise the question of the revolutionary perspective of our time, to fight against imperialism, for the peoples to live peacefully, for the exit from the EU slaughterhouse and the NATO meat grinder, by expropriating the means of production, for the creation of a society without wars, poverty, unemployment and exploitation.
