Uninterrupted Revolution I–II–III is one of the principal theoretical works of Turkish revolutionary Mahir Çayan.
Written during the intense political struggles of the early 1970s, the work examines the development of Marxist-Leninist revolutionary theory from Marx and Engels to Lenin, the transformation of capitalism into imperialism, and the revolutionary process in colonial and semi-colonial countries.
Moving from general revolutionary theory to the concrete conditions of Turkey, Çayan confronts revisionism and opportunism while developing his analysis of imperialism, the state, revolutionary organisation and strategy. Central to the work are his concepts of the Third Crisis Period of Imperialism and Politicised Military War Strategy.
Uninterrupted Revolution I–II–III provides an essential insight into the political and theoretical foundations that shaped Mahir Çayan’s revolutionary thought and left a lasting influence on subsequent generations of the revolutionary movement in Turkey.
