ANTI-IMPERIALIST FRONT AND PEOPLE´S FRONT FRANCE VISITED THE IRANIAN EMBASSY IN PARIS

On February 28, the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran without any justification. This aggression continues unabated.

Because Israel wants to turn the entire Middle East into another Gaza, it is raining heavy bombs down on the Iranian people. It is reported that over 40,000 people have been killed in just one month.

To protest U.S. imperialism and Israeli Zionism, and to demonstrate our solidarity with the Iranian people, the Anti-Imperialist Front and the People’s Front organized simultaneous protests in front of Iranian embassies in various European cities.

Additionally, if the Iranian Embassy had agreed, meetings with embassy staff were also planned.

In Paris, the Embassy agreed to the meeting.

The staff at the Iranian Embassy were somewhat taken aback by the scene they witnessed. It is not a common occurrence for people to arrive with flowers and messages of solidarity. However, AIF-France and the People’s Front could not remain indifferent to the attack suffered by the Iranian people.

The ambassador himself was at a meeting. Because of this, we were received by two of the ambassador’s staff members. They served us tea and cookies—in cups just like the ones used in Turkey.

We explained the reason for our visit. We presented them with the letter of solidarity we had written. We spent about 1.5 hours at the embassy.

An embassy staff member wanted to express himself very clearly. He described the attack they had experienced and the suffering of the Iranian people. He emphasized that these numbers were not just mere figures to them. He explained that behind every number lies the fate of a person, of a family. He stated that each one holds great importance for the Iranian state.

He mentioned that they suffer from the censorship imposed by Western media. The Iranian government reportedly publishes daily news bulletins free of censorship and distorted by disinformation. He asked for our contact information and offered to send us daily updates.

After explaining the general purpose of our visit, we stated that we wanted to send a delegation to Iran. We had previously sent a AIF delegation to Donbass as well. Similarly, we had sent a delegation to Gaza via the Rafah border crossing. Now we want to send one to Iran—both to see what is happening with our own eyes and to show the world.

The embassy staff member was very pleased to hear this and said they would assist in any way possible. They told us we could ask for their help in any way. They noted that whenever we wish to do something related to Iran, we can contact the embassy.

After our 1.5-hour visit, we presented the flowers we were holding before leaving.

Finally, we made a statement in English, Turkish, and French in front of the Embassy.

We are sharing the message of support we wrote to the Iranian Embassy:

WE STAND WITH THE IRANIAN PEOPLE

We have come here to show our solidarity with Iran and the Iranian people.

On 28 February 2026, for no apparent reason, while you were being kept at bay with “lies of negotiation”,
you were attacked, ostensibly by Israel and the U.S. The unseen aggressors, however, are the Gulf states collaborating with the U.S. and Israel.

In the very first days of this unilateral attack against you, you lost your religious leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. On this occasion, we extend our condolences to the Iranian people.

The rogue forces of U.S. imperialism and Zionist Israel will be held accountable for the blood they have shed. The blood of the Iranian, Palestinian, and Lebanese peoples will not go unavenged.
They sought to overthrow your government and bring Reza Pahlavi to power,
because he would be a loyal servant of the U.S. and Israel.
But things did not turn out as they had expected.
You proved to be resilient.
You brought hope to the peoples of the world.
You left Israel, U.S. imperialism, EU imperialism, and collaborating Gulf states such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain completely stunned.
You made the U.S. deeply regret becoming involved in this war.

Since the 1948 Nakba, when Israel occupied Palestinian lands, it has never faced such consecutive, relentless attacks.
Israelis are not accustomed to this. They believed their security systems, such as the Iron Dome, would protect them.
However, ever since they launched their attack on Iran, Israelis have been forced to live in shelters.

The Gulf states’ collaborators—those spineless sheikhs—are both stunned and helpless, utterly devastated.
What about the U.S., which was supposed to protect them? Far from protecting them, it cannot even protect its own military bases.
U.S. soldiers are paralysed with fear. They are removing their uniforms and hiding in hotels.
Right now, they are paying a heavy price for being loyal servants of U.S. imperialism.

U.S. imperialism is at a loss, not knowing what to do.
It cannot retreat, as that would clearly signal the end of U.S. hegemony.
But it cannot advance either. Iran is making its position clear to them.
U.S. imperialism, which initially sought to overthrow the government in Iran and stage a coup, now believes that if it could open the Strait of Hormuz, it could declare “victory” and unilaterally end the war.
However, Iran—which has been attacked twice in a short period—is not backing down; it is showing no tolerance.

Imperialism, a paper tiger, has been shaken by the blows dealt by Iran, Hezbollah, the resistance organisations in Iraq, and Ansar Allah in Yemen. The resistance axis it declared dead stands before them as solid as a rock.
You have already secured your first victory. The U.S. and NATO were forced to withdraw from Iraq.
This is a great source of hope for the oppressed peoples of the world.
It is about holding accountable those responsible for the one million people killed during the occupation of Iraq.

We hope that very soon U.S. bases will be removed from the entire Middle East.
And, God willing, along with these decisive blows, the so-called state of Israel will be erased from the face of the earth.
It will be consigned to the dustbin of history.
The Palestinian people will return to their lands.

Together with the Axis of Resistance, you have shown just how powerless the United States and Israel truly are.
You are demonstrating what a sovereign, unyielding nation should be like.
You are teaching the world a lesson in love for one’s homeland and people.
You are fighting for values that imperialist countries can never understand or recognise:
honour, dignity, and integrity.
For their wretched existence, there is no act too low that they would not commit.
Yet you, with your heads held high, fall as martyrs, defying death.
A quatrain by our country’s poet Ataol Behramoğlu captures this situation perfectly:

“The executioner awoke one night in his bed
‘My God,’ he said, ‘what a difficult riddle:
The more I kill, the more men multiply
I am running out as I kill…’”

Imperialism can never understand you.
But we understand.

Because we are fighting against imperialism, taking on the whole world.
Those who resist understand one another.
You are a source of hope not only for the Iranian people today, but for all the peoples of the world.
We stand with the Iranian people.
Down with U.S. imperialism and Israeli Zionism.
