Athens, Greece
4th April
Demonstration in front of US embassy – hundreds of people today according the international call of Anti-Imperialist Front against 77 years of NATO, hundreds of anti-imperialists, antifascists and different organisations joined. Coalition of organisations against NATO also called for the demo.
People joined the demo chanting slogans against US-NATO Imperialism, Zionism and for supporting the resistance, in Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Venezuela and Cuba.

Event against 77 years of NATO
The event for the defeat of NATO was successfully held, in Athens, Greece as part of the campaign against NATO for the 77th anniversary of its founding. Speakers included the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Freddy Fernandez Torres and Hossein Malek Givzat, ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Konstantina Kartsioti from the Anti-Imperialist Front, journalist and author Leonidas Vatikiotis and Argyro Syrmakezi from the “Ilektra Apostolou” People’s Struggle Front. A video intervention was also sent by Takis Politis, visiting professor in Cuba.
A large number of people, anti-imperialists anti-fascists, attended the event, posing questions to the speakers and making statements. A productive discussion followed, analyzing the international situation as well as the duties of the international anti-imperialist movement.
It was declared by all participants that we support Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, and Donbass, and that we struggle in a common front against imperialism, Zionism, and fascism at home and abroad.
The issue of closing US-NATO bases was raised as was the unity of the anti-imperialist struggle against USA-NATO-EU.

Amsterdam, Netherlands
Demo in front of U.S Consulate.
At the call of the Anti-Imperialist Front, a protest was held in front of the US consulate, the main enemy of the peoples, on the anniversary of the founding of the terrorist organisation NATO. People from all around the world participated in the action. Symbols of Cuba, Iraq, Korea, Iran, Palestine and socialist leaders were flown in front of the American consulate. Slogans were shouted against imperialist powers, especially NATO. The Anti-Imperialist Front described NATO’s history and massacres in its speech. The speech ended with a call for everyone to unite against NATO. Around 100 people participated in the action.
Liege, Belgium
On April 1st, in Liège, as Coordination Résistances, we joined the international campaign launched by the Anti-Imperialist Front and mobilized against NATO — the largest criminal and terrorist organization in the world.
As every week, we began by saluting the resistance of the Palestinian people. We addressed current events, in particular the reinstatement of the death penalty against political prisoners.
The struggle for a free Palestine must be part of a broader struggle — that of all peoples against imperialism.
U.S. imperialism uses Zionism to control the peoples of the Middle East, conquer their lands, and plunder their resources.
U.S. imperialism uses NATO to control the peoples of the Global North and to drag them into its wars against the peoples of the Global South.
Our comrade Nick from Zannekinbond made a great speech reminding us of NATO’s historical role as an organization of assassins. He exposed the consequences of its policies for the peoples of the Global South as well as for those living in imperialist metropoles, and emphasized the necessity of organising to fight NATO.
We closed our activity with revolutionary Palestinian and Latin American songs, strengthening our commitment to international struggle.
In 2026, the United States, NATO, and Israel are pillaging, bombing, occupying and starving peoples across the world: Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela, Ukraine, and beyond.
The United States and its armed wing, NATO, are enemies of humanity!
Belgium must leave NATO now!
Let us unite. Let us resist. We will smash NATO!

Germany, US Consulate in Dusseldorf
Minsk, Belarus
The round table discussion “77 years of the imperialist NATO bloc” was held in Minsk, organized by the Anti-Imperialist Front-Belarus together with the Communist Party of Belarus as part of the international campaign against NATO.
The roundtable included speakers from the Iranian Ambassador, the Cuban Ambassador, a representative of the Russian Embassy, a military expert, the Communist Party leadership, and a representative of the Anti-Imperialist Front. Members of the Communist Youth League and a teacher and students from China also participated.
The participants expressed their solidarity with the just struggle of the Iranian people against the aggression of US imperialism and Zionist Israel, and also supported the resistance of the Cuban people. The conviction was expressed that the aggressive NATO bloc should be dissolved and only through joint efforts can we defeat imperialism.
A picket was also organised in Belarus, where an activist held a poster with the words “Stop NATO,” and a video was made of the burning of a NATO flag.
Paris, France
Anti-Imperialist Front, URC and OCF organised together the protest against NATO in Paris.
The meeting point was the resistance tent of Zehra Kurtay.
From there the militants made a march of 10 minutes until the famous square in Paris “place de la Republique”. A rally took place there. Speeches were made by different groups and organisations.
Marseille, France
In Marseille, the Anti-Imperialist Front, along with OCR, UCR and JC, held a march and rally against NATO. Participants carried Iranian and Palestinian flags and burned NATO symbols.
Rome, Italy
Naples, Italy
The anti-NATO march in Naples took place under the flags of Palestine, Venezuela and Cuba.
Ghedi (Brescia), Italy
A rally took place in front of the NATO base in Ghedi on April 4.
Florence, Italy
A rally against NATO with banners and flags took place in Florence.
Dublin, Ireland
An event commemorating the martyrdom of Seamus Costello in 1977 and the burning of a NATO flag, part of the international campaign against the North Atlantic Alliance, was held in Bray, Dublin. Organised by Anti-Imperialist Action and the Anti-Imperialist Front, the event featured international guests, including comrades from the Basque Country and Italy.
London, Great Britain
A protest and exposure action against NATO was held in London
On the occasion of the March 30 – April 4 International Week of Action Against NATO, a protest was held on Saturday, April 4, in front of the U.S. Embassy in London, following the call of the Anti-Imperialist Front.
The slogans “Shut down NATO and U.S. bases! NATO and the U.S., enemies of the people, get out!” were chanted.
Flags, banners, and placards were displayed in front of the U.S. Embassy. The Palestinian flag—symbolizing a people under occupation by Israeli Zionism and representing one of the longest-standing struggles of 78 years—was carried.
Flags of the Front and Che, the flag of the Iranian people symbolising the honorable resistance of the Middle East, and English-language banners were also displayed.
In English, slogans such as:
“U.S. get out of the Middle East! Murderer USA, murderer Israel! Down with imperialism, down with Zionism! What do we want? Justice! No justice, no peace! Long live the people’s justice!”
