Dozens of organizations responded to the call of the Anti-Imperialist Front to declare April 04, the day of the founding of NATO, the day of the struggle against NATO. During the anti-NATO week, communist, anti-imperialist and anti-fascist organizations held protests against NATO demanding the dissolution of the terrorist North Atlantic bloc and the closure of US and NATO military bases.

We participated in the Peace March in Mannheim as People’s Cinema. On Saturday, March 30th, three of us participated in the march and distributed 80 leaflets against NATO.
The imperialists are responsible for all the wars and massacres in the world. The imperialists, along with NATO, attack the people of the world with massacres, wars, and concept decisions to continue their exploitation systems.
As People’s Cinema workers, we say that we must unite and fight against NATO, this war organization.
We will continue to take our place in the fight against NATO alongside the peoples of the world with our art.

Wolmorsted is a little village close to Magdeburg. But in this beautiful place is the biggest NATO training centre. So for this reason since 27 years the Easter March takes there place.
500 people participated on the Easter March. Beside Easter March there are also stands and a stage.
On the stage the representative of AIF held two speeches. And signatures against NATO was gathered.

On ay, Monday April 1st, an Easter march took place in Dortmund. The 129 Committee joined the march with banners against NATO. During the march, around 100 flyers calling for participation in the march titled “Let Lena Açıkgöz’s demands be accepted” on April 13 were distributed.
While distributing the flyers, the migrant women’s association who participated in the march were invited to the event on April 13. They shared their contact information to communicate about their future plans. At the same time, contact was made with the German left and flyers against NATO were distributed.

At the same time, the demonstration was part of the international campaign against 75 years of NATO launched by the Anti-imperialist Front in various countries of the world with the aim of mobilizing worldwide organizations and groups against imperialism and with central slogans:
75 YEARS OF NATO IS ENOUGH, TO CLOSE THE US-NATO BASES, TO UNITE, FIGHT AND WIN AGAINST IMPERIALISM, THE COMMON ENEMY OF THE PEOPLES.
The international campaign of the Anti-imperialist Front in Greece was signed by Anti-NATO Action and Popular Action.
In view of the demonstration, political forces and militants-militants formed the Initiative against the 75 years of NATO – Anti-imperialist Front, Anti-NATO Action, Political Offıce “Electra Apostolou, Intervention, Association for the Dissemination of Marxist thought Kordatos, Movement of Communists Workers’ Struggle, unaffiliated militants-fighters of the anti-imperialist movement – which called for mobilization, with slogans 75 YEARS OF NATO IS ENOUGH! CLOSE THE USA-NATO- BASES! FREEDOM FOR PALESTINE/VICTORY TO PALESTINIAN RESISTANCE!
In common step with the initiative against the 75 years of NATO, the Revolutionary Unification – and the Communist Revolutionary Action also demonstrated.
About 1000 demonstrators participated in the mobilization against the policies of NATO’s murderous imperialist apparatus.
Opposing the genocide of the Palestinian people and supporting the heroic Palestinian resistance was also the main focus of the demonstration.
Throughout the mobilization, slogans were shouted against NATO’s murderous policies in Palestine, Yemen, Ukraine, Syria, against Zionism and the Greek state.
NATO, as a military apparatus, is the gendarme of the imperialist world. The mobilization was to highlight that NATO is the largest terrorist organization in the world. It is the greatest threat to all the peoples of the world.
That as anti-imperialists and internationalists we have a duty to unite, to fight against imperialism and cooperating states.
Also we mentioned our solidarity with the People’s Struggle Front “Kostas Vidalis” and denounce the detentions for their action on April 4 at the Euro-NATO base of the 1st Army in Larissa.
