A very important and well-attended event was organised by the Anti-Imperialist Front in Greece, in the capital, Athens, in support of the Axis of Resistance against US imperialism and Zionism.
At the event, speakers included Konstantina Kartsioti from the Anti-Imperialist Front; Dr Ali Alhaj Hasan, Youth Official for Educational Mobilisation of Hezbollah from Lebanon; the General Secretary of (PYO), the Youth Organisation of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), speaking from the Palestinian camps in Lebanon; Nasr Al-Deen Amer, Vice-President of the Ansarullah Media Commission and Head of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni News Agency, Saba, and Editor-in-Chief; Vasilis Liosis, teacher and writer; and Evaggelos Venetis, an academic and expert in Iran and West Asia studies.
The event was supported by various anti-imperialist organisations and associations and was very well attended, with more than 150 people present.




It began by paying honour to the martyrs and also mentioned Al-Quds Day as a day of resistance for all people of the region. It was a significant event which united the voices of resistance forces from Iran, Lebanon, Palestine and Yemen with the anti-imperialist movement within NATO countries.
The speakers explained the current situation in the region of West Asia and the common struggle of the people resisting against US imperialism and Zionism. The Hezbollah representative spoke about the common Axis of Resistance and inspired the audience with remarks on the importance of shared resistance. The speaker from the Palestinian Youth Organisation discussed the situation and resistance in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon, particularly within the Palestinian camps, and also referred to the nearly one million displaced people and more. The representative of Ansar Allah spoke about the Day of Resistance, Al-Quds Day, and the importance of resistance in the region.
Konstantina Kartsioti, representative and organiser from the Anti-Imperialist Front, paid tribute to the martyrs Imam Ali Khamenei, Hasan Nasrallah, Qassem Soleimani, Yahya Sinwar and Abu Ali Mustafa, and spoke about the massacres attributed to the Zionist entity and imperialism, including those involving schoolgirls in Minab, as well as other incidents in Iran, Lebanon, Palestine and Yemen.
The event concluded with a commitment to unite, fight and win against US imperialism and Zionism, and to expand the struggle to defeat NATO.
