In Athens 120,000 people demonstrate over train derailment that killed 57 people

Over 120,000 people demonstrated on March 8 in Athens. Rallies were also held in 60 other cities of Greece.
The demonstrators demanded justice for the 57 victims of the March 1 train accident. That day, a passenger train collided head-on with a freight train at full speed. Both trains were on the same track towards each other.
This terrible disaster was made possible by the privatization of the railways in Greece and the lack of proper state control over the safety of rail transport.
The main slogan of the large-scale demonstration was: This was not a railway accident, but a mass murder committed by the state and capitalism.
Anti-imperialist front also took part in the demonstration.
