IMMEDIATELY REVOKE THE DEPORTATION AND ADMINISTRATIVE DETENTION DECISIONS OF THE GREEK POLICE!
ON HUNGER STRIKE FROM 05 OCTOBER!
The Greek state, in collaboration with imperialism and the Turkish state, does not miss an opportunity to attack Turkey’s revolutionaries. The Greek police attacked and arrested rebels who were going to Chalkida for summer camp, attacked, tortured, arrested the political refugees.
After political and legal battles we managed to convert the sentence of Chalcis into a fine so that the comrades could be released. Although the sentences were redeemed, the prisoners were not immediately released. The police ordered the administrative detention of our detainees Şadi Naci Özpolat, Ali Ercan Gökoğlu and Hazal Seçer on the grounds that they “pose a threat to the greek state”. These decisions were challenged in the administrative courts and the revolutionaries Şadi Naci Özpolat and Hazal Secer released. Finally, the deportation and administrative detention decision against Ali Ercan Gökoğlu continues. Appeals to the administrative court were not upheld and it was decided to continue detention. Like the objections in the Administrative Court of Chania to the deportation were not accepted and it was decided to deport him! Ali Ercan Gökoğlu risks immediate deportation to Turkey!
Ali Ercan Gökoğlu began an indefinite hunger strike from October 5, 2024 against this legal terror that continued against him. He is currently being held at the Aliens Police Station, Petrou Ralli in Athens.
We call on all organizations, collectives, trade unions, associations, associations and individuals to stand in solidarity with Ali Ercan Gökoğlu, demand his freedom and non-deportation, and increase solidarity against the legal terrorism of the Greek state.
