Our comrade Şadi Naci Özpolat, a member of the People΄s Front, a political prisoner in the Diavata prison, went on a hunger strike on 14 October demanding
• Do not tear his books and receive the printed material sent to him without censorship
• To be allowed to visit with a friendly person as as a political refugee, he has no family members in Greece
The demands of the hunger strike were accepted,
when solidarity movements began to take place and a day after the hunger strike began in solidarity with the other political prisoners for the same case, members of the People΄s Front, our comrades and comrades, who are scattered in various prisons in Greece.
Last Friday, he received his first visit after 8 months in prison and was given printed material where he had not been delivered for so long.
Achieving the demands of the comrade clearly shows us that the fight against the vengeful bans, oppression and intimidation that they are trying to impose in prisons,
human guards, managers and, more broadly, repressive mechanisms, are fair, necessary and bringing results. He confirms to us once again that the only way to victory is resistance.
FIGHTING AGAINST IMPERIALISM, FASCISM, INJUSTICE AND CLASS EXPLOITATION IS NOT A CRIME. ITS A DUTY.
SOLIDARITY IS THE WEAPON OF THE PEOPLE
