A look back at the national and international day of coordinated actions called by the United Campaign on this February 19 to demand the release of Georges Abdallah.
More than 40 mobilized cities united in a single cry: “Let’s continue the fight! Free Georges Abdallah!”
The fight, indeed, continues after the decision of the Paris Court of Appeal to further increase the pressure and ensure that Georges Abdallah is released on this highly symbolic day of June 19 – the day of revolutionary prisoners!
Never has the movement to support and defend Georges Abdallah been as strong or as widespread as it is today! And all the initiatives taken every day, everywhere, and also during these major coordinated events are a clear demonstration of this balance of power – called for by Georges Abdallah himself – which continues to strengthen and harden. And this is despite the repression that, by all means, seeks to silence our support for our comrade and more broadly for his fight for a free Palestine from the Sea to the Jordan.
A special thought, too, on this day, for our comrades from the Collectif Palestine Vaincra, whose unjust dissolution we strongly denounce, but who are and will remain with us in the struggle. “Attacking one of us is attacking all of us!”
Let us therefore continue our mobilization more than ever, on all fronts, in the diversity of our expressions. And let us intensify, amplify, and coordinate this united campaign for the release of Georges Abdalla.
