WE WILL WIN VICTORY BY ACHIEVING PEOPLE’S JUSTICE!
The year is 1969… The first steps begin to be taken on the road of Turkey’s revolution. On January 6 at ODTÜ [a university] the car of Robert Commer, the US ambassador to Turkey, is set on fire, a process which strengthened the anti-imperialist consciousness of youth.
In December 1970, the THKP-C, the hope of liberation for the peoples of Turkey, was founded.
The oligarchy took fright from the rising revolutionary tide and with the memorandum of 1971 it sought to prevent the struggle for people’s liberation.
The THKP-C punished Ephraim Elrom, the consul of Israel, the gendarme of American imperialism, the chief enemy of the world’s peoples.
This action which punished a butcher of Palestine with a boldness not seen to that date was a great blow to imperialism and the oligarchy.
On the one hand revisionism falsified the Marxist-Leninist ideology, on the other imperialism and the oligarchy conducted constant manhunts, operation, jailings, massacres… But nothing they did could prevent those from the island from being the source that nouished the soil of Anatolia, and being its most vital blood vessel.
June 1, 1971 – Mahir and Cevahir answered the murderous army of the oligarchy that collaborates with imperialism – wen called on to surrender, they fought. Maltepe; henceforth the Island was where the peoples of Turkey would be liberated.
With this 51-hour clash they challenged 50 years of the revisionist tradition as well challenging imperialism and the collaborators! At the same time a tradition of not surrendering was started. One of the leaders of the THKP-C, Hüseyin Cevahir, was shot dead with 23 bullets in his body, while Mahir Çayan was wounded and captured.
From the first moment Mahir burned to rejoin the leadership in the fight for people’s liberation and created a new tradition with a freedom action. He regarded revolutionism not as a crime but as a duty, took action so he could not be imprisoned between four walls, and saw prison as a position in the fight for people’s liberation, and at the first opportuniity he created the conditions to escape to freedom and rejoin the fight. Thus was accomplished the first freedom action…
February 19, 1972, Arnavutköy…
Another base… Another position… Another legend on the road of revolution. Ulaş Bardakçı became immortal with rifle in hand with a cry of war until liberation against imperialism and the oligarchy. The revisionists and opportunists who ideologically come under imperialist control said the young revolutionary leaders were “a handful of adventurers”; with the tradition of not surrendering, the line of revolutionary action, preventing harm coming to the people during actions, they wrote legends that made them immortal, singing their slogans and marches.
The Year 1972…
The March 12 junta sentenced to death three of the THKO leaders Yusuf Aslan, Hüseyin İnan and Deniz Gezmiş. The THKP-C leader Mahir Çayan said that their execution would be a “matter of the prestige of revolution in Turkey” and “untying this knot will open the way to revolution in Turkey”, he noted, resolving to carry out an action to prevent the executions.
Three British agents on duty at the Ünye radar base were abducted on March 26, and a message left offering to Exchange their lives in return for stopping the execution of Deniz and his friends. The announcement addressed the President’s Office, parliament and government in the following terms:
“In 1972 in Turkey, if the oligarchy seeks to end the life of even one patriot and vanguard fighter by hanging, these British agents will be eliminated by our bullets, those of the people’s revolutionary vanguard. If these demands are not accepted these British will be shot.” Then there were three demands:
The executions should be stopped immediately, no patriot or revolutionary should be hanged, and the implementation should be announced on Turkish radio within 48 hours at most.
They arrived at Kızıldere village, Almus District in Tokat with the hostages they had kidnapped and were surrounded by the executioners of the collaborationist oligarchy at 0500 on March 30.
The mudbrick house is an island where they will never abandon the honour of revolutionism and the hope of liberation for the people. Therefore, they responded to the calls for surrender by saying, “WE CAME HERE TO DIE, NOT TO TURN BACK!”
Mahir was the first to be murdered, while on the roof of an adobe house. Mahir was shot in the forehead, while his comrades tried to bring him down they also punished the British. They became immortal while fighting with the slogan, ”Long live independent Turkey”.

KIZILDERE; INDEPENDENCE AGAINST IMPERIALISM, DEMOCRACY AGAINST FASCISM, CAPITALISM AGAINST SOCIALISM IS THE ONLY WAY!
Kizildere is the protection of revolutionary ideas against imperialism and oligarchy at the cost of life, even though they do not agree with the strategy of the THKO leaders who espouse the concept of National Democratic Revolution.
Those like Mahir Çayan are the name of an act of audacity, taking the risk of the destruction of THKP-C physically while they are the targets of a manhunt themselves. It is the defence of friendship, love, loyalty, labour and honour to the death.
It is the point of revolutionary action, of protecting the people at all costs.
The name of the conflict in all circumstances, not surrendering to the enemy, has become a tradition in Anatolian territory.
The claim to power, class consciousness, is the goal of revolution. It is proof that not deviating from Marxist-Leninist ideology; that having ideological clarity, ideological determination and ideological independence is the only way to liberation of our ideology.
As long as there is a consciousness of history, a consciousness of class, an awareness of organization, it is a declaration of recreating yourself from the ashes, of being reborn, of being immortalised, even if you are physically destroyed!
It is a fortress where there is courage, virtue, solidarity, self-sacrifice, everything about revolutionary values…
THE ONLY THING THAT KIZILDERE DOESN’T HAVE IS ANY TENDENCY TO SURRENDER!
FROM MAHIR TO UNCLE, OUR PEOPLE’S LIBERATION WAR CONTINUES!
Uncle [name for Dursun Karataş], without deviating from continuous revolution and without dogmatism, implemented Kızıldere’s concept of revolution.
Uncle is the one who brought the Marxist-Leninist theory to life and kept it alive in his 38 years of continuous revolutionism.
From his role in the first street clash in Kocamustafapaşa in 1975, he gained the title of leader of the revolutionary movement of Turkey as the originator of militant actions and glorious resistance against imperialism and oligarchy, as well as from his leading position in the 1984 death fast.
In the reports in which US imperialism targeted him, it stated: “He made the narrow cadre movement in Kızıldere establish a link with the people.” Yes, the THKP-C, which was physically destroyed in Kızıldere, reformed with the Revolutionary Left (Devrimci Sol) and DHKP-C with its labour and ideological unshakeability.
It is he who made us a people’s movement from THKP-C to DHKP-C with the slogan ”We are the people, we are one of the people, we are the pioneers of the people“, “We are the children of the people, we fight the people’s war, we will establish the power of the people”.
We learned from him the love of the people, class consciousness; the love of the homeland, the consciousness of history. We march to power with our love of the people and the homeland, with our class consciousness and consciousness of history.
It is our Commander, our leader, our comrade uncle who deals with and implements all forms of struggle, legal or illegal organisations, inseparable from one another.
He is the architect of policies that insist on the perspective of COMMITTEE – PARLIAMENT – FRONT and which every Front supporter implements today. As we learned from him, we will establish people’s organisations and open channels through which our people will gain class consciousness and learn to rule; from small mobile units to guerrilla army, from guerrilla Army to people’s army, we will speed up on the path to people’s power.
It is thanks to his scientific and political depth that we can simplify the science of Marxism-Leninism with its cornerstones and analyses, which the children of the people in Anatolia can understand and achieve.
With the wisdom and modesty of Uncle, who says, “Don’t like yourself, believe in yourself,” we proclaim with confidence: to be a revolutionary means to be from the Party-Front!
51 HOURS OF COMBAT, 50 YEARS FROM THKP-C TO THE DHKP-C, WE ARE THE ONLY HOPE OF LIBERATION FOR THE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD!
WE HAVE THE HONOUR OF BEING A PEOPLE’S MOVEMENT THAT DOES WHAT IT SAYS AND DEFENDS WHAT IT DOES!
Imperialism has not changed. The main contradiction is still between imperialism and the peoples of the world. For this reason, we have been occupying our own Marxist-Leninist chair for 50 years.
How did we manage to be a people’s movement, not to skid to the left and right?
By never compromising our ideological clarity, ideological determination and ideological independence!
Ideological Clarity: The Only Way Is Revolution, The Only Liberation Is Socialism!
Ideological Determination: Our Unchanging, Uncompromising Attitude Towards Imperialism!
Ideological Independence: the fact that our feet are always on Anatolian soil, both ideologically and politically!
In this way, we continued to walk on our own path without being affected by the winds blowing from the right and the left and by ideological attacks. Because, as our leader Mahir Çayan said, ”We learned the Marxist-Leninist theory not to ‘engage in the intellectual chatter and traffic policing of the world revolutionary movement’, but to change the world, to make revolution in the World and Turkey.”
This is one of the defining points that separates us from the left of our country and the world and allows us to stand in the way of the falsification of the science of Marxism-Leninism, the policies of the left to strike the left and make minds surrender. We walk the path of Kızıldere to liberation.
Knowing is doing. Those who see, but remain silent, who know, but do not act are the petit bourgeois who look “intellectual”, who feed from the dish of the bourgeoisie.
We will continue to say what we know, do what we say, and defend what we do!
Our theory from the THKP-C to the DHKP-C is based on two main elements: the PEOPLE and LIBERATION!
Even in our name, we emphasize this: the People’s Liberation Party-Front.
We will never stop saying ”everything is for the people, for the Front, for the Party.” This is what we learned from Lenin and Uncle: ALWAYS FORWARD, ALWAYS THE PEOPLE!
Why?
Because all things that are not ”THE PEOPLE” are civil society; that is, they take their ideological source from the bourgeoisie and inside the system.
Because to always prefer the “PROGRESSIVE” side is not to compromise on the claim of power.
THE DHKP-C IS THE SUCCESSOR, NOT THE HEIR OF THE THKP-C!
As a continuation of the THKP-C, which set out for the liberation of the people, we continue to fight for the liberation of the people. This is the case from 1972 to 2020!
To be a revolutionary is to be a supporter of the Party-Front! Why? Revolutionism is to fight against imperialism under all circumstances and to risk paying the price!
In a process in which imperialist exploitation continues unbridled and revolutionary organisations are surrendering, our leader Comrade Dursun Karataş has placed special emphasis on paying the price when describing revolutionism. Because a ”risk-free” leftism is not possible!
It is only those of the Front who continue the war against imperialism without compromise by being willing to pay the price in the first instance!
In today’s world, the only representative of morality and honour is the supporters of the Front. Why?
To have Marxist morality; to reject the system of the bourgeoisie with all its institutions of infrastructure and superstructure; to fight against imperialism and its collaborators in order to establish a new system of production and sharing against capitalism. Today it is only the Front who are fighting this war!
Deciding not to seek an intermediate path, never to compromise, and to fight under any circumstances; only the supporters of the Front make that statement.
Because we act on the principle of ”if there is repression, you will resist, if there is the enemy, you will fight.” Wherever we are cut off or our position is besieged, the position will be defended to the death under any circumstances! Without waiting for any instructions, our martyred comrades who wrote the name of hope in blood in the bases where they were besieged have created a tradition of the Front.
Why Do We Fight In Our Bases?
- Not to leave anything to the enemy.
- To exit if there is a possibility of doing so.
- Not to surrender to the order we want to destroy.
In the process of reconciliation-liquidation-surrender, which was led by imperialism, some of those who sought an intermediate way came under the protection of imperialism, some surrendered the arms they had in their hands, some of them became the 23-cent military of imperialism, and some of them established a state that was a base for it.
Only the Front supporters have the honour of being on the side of those who threw a stone at imperialism, and never sought conciliation with it!
We have never confused friends with enemies, “Down with” never changed places with “long live”! We ever dreamed and we were never disappointed. We only trusted our people, we grew up with our people, as children of the people, we organise people’s war and march to people’s power!
IT IS OUR PROMISE TO OUR LEADER, COMRADE AND COMMANDER UNCLE AND ALL OUR MARTYRS THAT WE WILL GET THE PEOPLE TO FIGHT AND MAKE THE WAR A PEOPLE’S ONE!
In imperialism’s 3rd Period of Crisis the form of colonialism of imperialism is neo-colonialism and our country is a neo-colony of during the crisis period is neo-colonialism and our country is a neo-colony of imperialism. This determination is the fundamental point that separates THKP-C from the organisations that came before and after it.
Mahir Çayan states what is different about the Party-Front as follows: “The implementation of the guerrilla war for revolutionary political purposes, as a means of the campaign to explain the political facts, that is, to treat it as a political mass struggle, is called a Politicised Military War Strategy (PASS).”
In his early twenties, Mahir Çayan drew the path and strategy of the Turkish revolution while practically weaving the path to the revolution step by step. He has shown the path of the Anatolian Revolution by summarising it in 100 pages with “Uninterrupted Revolution 1-2” he wrote in conditions of secrecy. The strategy of the Turkish revolution is the politicised military war strategy (PASS).
The path of joining the people in their own liberation war, from small mobile units to guerrilla army, from Guerrilla Army to People’s Army, goes through PASS.
Imperialism and the oligarchy created the objective conditions of revolution in the world and in our country through their oppression and exploitation. The issue is in subjective terms, that is, the ORGANISATION. This organisation is the DHKP-C on Anatolian territory!
Since we base the armed propaganda on PASS, the only source of hope for our people is expressed by the NAME OF HOPE. On the road of liberation, armed struggle is fundamental, and all other forms of struggle are subject to it.
Who are the people?
Except for a handful of traitors and collaborators, the people is everyone whose interests are with the revolution. We will get all sections of the people to unite, organise and fight against imperialism and fascism!
What does oligarchy mean?
It is an administration in which power is held by a minute handful. In our country, the oligarchs are the collaborationist, monopolistic bourgeoisie, usury merchants and major landlords.
The oligarchy’s way of governing is fascism. The only way to prevent the violence of fascism and the terror of the state is REVOLUTIONARY VIOLENCE! Waging vanguard war through acts of revolutionary violence is a mandatory stage on the road to revolution.
We will organise revolutionary violence more widely and more intensively against the violence of the oligarchy. Because in the countryside and cities, it is imperative to organise the struggle that will deepen the stalemate of the oligarchy and to confront the war against the people with the people’s war.
In armed propaganda, the countryside and the city are one dialectical whole.
We will unite the people in the face of the oligarchy which is united in exploiting and slaughtering the people!
The unification of the oligarchy is “TEMPORARY and WEAK” because it is based on its interests. However, the unity of the people is permanent and has striking power because it is based on a just cause, solidarity, class brotherhood and will continue after taking power.
In its 2014 report on our organisation, US imperialism says: “as Dursun Karataş says, 30 percent of the population of Turkey lives in Istanbul. That’s why Istanbul is important. The undisputed ruler of Istanbul is the DHKP-C. The DHKP-C is the sole ruler of poor neighbourhoods…”
The FRONT is the only power to organise our people from all nationalities and faiths, including workers, public workers, unemployed, students, squatters, engineers, architects, young people, old people, women and men!
Only the hungry can end hunger, only the poor poverty, only the people who have been pushed into the depths corruption!
We will organise the rage of our poor people against hunger, injustice and corruption!
In our country, capitalism has not developed with its own internal dynamics. Therefore, there is neither “a pool of workers, the working class” as the opportunist and reformist left claims, nor a peasantry according to them. The overwhelming majority of our people live in cities and neighbourhoods and make a living by selling their labour to capitalism at an hourly rate.
Of our 81 million people, 6 million are unemployed and 16 million are hungry. They rule with permanent fascism to prevent the rebellion of our people, who want to be condemned to hunger, poverty, corruption and injustice.
“The peasants who remained loyal to the philosophy of ‘Allah above, the state below’ until quite recently, and the propaganda of ‘the state is strong and indestructible’, which is the extension of this philosophy in cities, has lost credibility in the eyes of the masses. From top to bottom, state administrators see and experience the poverty, misery, decay and powerlessness of the masses of the people.
On the one hand, increasing poverty and the danger of losing all of its values lead people to new directions. This quest is in fact a revolution; but since the revolutionaries cannot meet this quest, other tools brought about by the oligarchy and imperialism come on the agenda and channel the reaction of the people towards the order and obstruct the search for revolution.”

PASS is the strategy that draws the path of liberation and to turn the reaction of our people into an organized force in the face of the fascist order, to show the people who are responsible for the exploitation and injustice they have experienced.
The two pillars of armed propaganda that would subvert the phenomenon of artificial balance and relative prosperity;
* Explaining political facts to the people.
* To engage the people in armed struggle.
In other words, armed struggle is not an act of heroism, it is not an act of revenge at all. Armed struggle is the basic tool that will bring about developments that can disrupt the artificial balance, but IT IS NEVER THE ONLY TOOL!
Fascism does not content itself with using only the laws, courts, police, military, guards, prisons, KHK, OHAL [the state of emergency after the failed coup of 2016 and the regulations issued in connection to the state of emergency] and the scientific terror of the state.
It also pushes the public into despair, spreading the idea that the system cannot be changed. “What’s done is done, what’s not is fate. There’s nothing to be done,” it wants people to think. Depression, suicides, insanity… are the result of the anger generated by injustice not finding a proper outlet.
Two dynamics of revolution in neo-colonial countries: POVERTY and INJUSTICE. We will organise the struggle for justice against the mentality that “what’s done is done, nothing can be changed” and the anger against poverty, as opposed to “fatalism”.
We will turn the anger of the people into rebellion and despair into hope!
WE ARE HERE to oppose the attack of precarious work, impoverishment, disorganisation!
“The bourgeoisie has taken away all the dignity of the professions that have been held in esteem and before which it bowed down, and has made the physician, the lawyer, the priest, the poet and the scientist into its own wage labourers.”(Communist Manifesto, page 51) as we learned from the masters of revolution, Marks and Engels, intellectuals, artists, jurists, medics, academics against the tyranny of fascism… these sections, which are undervalued in the eyes of the poor, mostly also live in the neighbourhoods.
We will unite all sections of the people in the same front against fascism, we will organise and step up the revolutionary violence of the people step by step!
The oligarchy, on the one hand, increases unemployment and the cost of living, also increasing the dissatisfaction of the people to a great extent, while on the other hand it steps up repression and terror in the face of armed propaganda. Fascism, which increasingly shelves all democratic rights of the people, is the greatest persecution of the people. We will organise and turn the desperation and anger of our people into an instrument of war against the bourgeoisie!
WAR IS AN IDEOLOGICAL WAR!
IDEOLOGY FIGHTS, IDEOLOGY GETS OTHERS TO FIGHT!
THE PARTY-FRONT IDEOLOGY IS THE ONLY FORCE THAT WILL SHAKE THE WORLD ONCE AGAIN FROM ANATOLIA!
Idealism says “everyone knows everything”. No, we look at all the issues in the world dialectically.
We learn lessons from comparison and practices, history, principles and rules. Ideology fills the remaining gaps.
There are two classes. Everything we do, every attitude we take, every decision we make is the result of the ideology of either the bourgeoisie or the proletariat. From whatever ideology you take the ideological nourishment, from which you feed, that you serve. Our minds and heart have been in the ranks of the peoples of the world for 50 years, in the lands of Anatolia.
UNCLE says: “we will continue to fight until we remove imperialism from the face of the earth and create a world without exploitation!”.
We are the students of Mahir and Uncle, who put the concept of internationalism into place, and who made us stand by those who threw even a stone at imperialism.
Our 50-year history from theTHKP-C to DHKP-C is the history of the revolution in Turkey.
* We are a war organisation!
* We are a people’s movement!
Despite all the blows we have suffered, we are still standing upright and we are the hope of liberation for the peoples of Turkey and the world through the traditions and values we have created.
After September 11, the five organisations on the “terror” list prepared by the United States; FARC, PFLP, Islamic Jihad, Hamas and DHKP-C were counted as “must be destroyed” and were targeted accordingly.
However, ONLY THE DHKP-C is still in existence on this list today.
The honour of being the chief target of US imperialism, the arch-enemy of the peoples of the world, is ours!
We continue to lead the way for Turkey and the world revolutionary movement by not straying from our claim of “anti-imperialist anti-oligarchic people’s revolution” by even a miillimetre. Not only are we a barrier to those who would slip into imperialist control, but we encourage them to fight for the liberation of the peoples. The left of the world and our country were restricted to the Spanish Civil War by saying merely “solidarity” and organised by the renegade Kautskys, and in fact became obsessed with petit bourgeois nationalism and internal violence on the left. Against the example of the Second International; Lenin brought class fraternity to the fore and organised it with the understanding of “always forward, always the people”. We keep the Third International alive that he organised and show that internationalism is a blood brotherhood.
Stalin says, “The type of international organisation is the school of friendship and fraternal feelings. Revolution in one country is not a goal in itself. It is also a means of developing and supporting revolutions in other countries. And this is the problem we are witnessing in revolutionary movements; this is the only real internationalism.”
This is why Uncle laid stress on the Third International and on developing internationalism.

WE WILL ESTABLISH THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE!
Imperialism seeks to make minds surrender with neo-colonialism and eliminate the hope of revolution.
One of the countries where the anti-imperialist blood vessel and revolutionary dynamics are strongest is Turkey. For this reason, we have an organisation that is a target of US and EU imperialism. Because the Great Middle East project and the expanded Middle East project have been frustrated by our Great Resistance.
They thought, ”There will be no more revolution and revolutionism, they will live in peace with imperialism, they will swim in the swamp of reformism in the name of leftism.”
However, we responded to the ”change your beliefs or die” attack with 122 heroic martyrs with our Great Resistance from 2000-2007.
The Great Resistance is the redefinition of revolutionism. The popularisation of heroism is the name of the people becoming heroes. Mothers and fathers, young and old, women and men, the people and the revolutionaries are now intertwined. The hope of revolution will not be destroyed, our minds will never surrender!
Kızıldere to Çiftehavuzlar, July 12 to death fasts, Alişan to Çağlayan, Alif Sultan to Hasan Selim, we developed one legend after another!
What can three guerrillas do? With the historic answer to this historic question, we have brought liberation closer. Three unarmed guerrillas who are wounded and had burn injuries MAKE REVOLUTION!
Leyla, without receiving any order, removed weapons from a shelter that had been bombed and demanded a reckoning for her murdered comrades.
Our people have frustrated the policy of “creating slanderers-confessors”, which AKP fascism, which is the most collaborationist government to date, has embraced to isolate us from the people and to surrender. They will not get the people to turn their children in, become dishonourable or turn the people into informers.
In a country where intellectuals, artists, academics, lawyers, unemployed, poor, workers, public labourers… young, old, women and men all resist by saying, “We want justice.” The honor of resistance belongs to the children of the people, the dishonour of oppression and exploitation belongs to the bourgeoisie. The price paid by fascism, the bodies that melt away cell by cell, is the reason to step up the war. We will prevent the attacks on every part of the population with our revolutionary violence!
From The Great Resistance We Have Resisted For Our Right To Resist Today, We Will Crown The People’s Struggle For Justice With Victory, Leading To Revolution!
Armed propaganda is a political struggle, not a military one. It is not an individual but a mass struggle. In the struggle to explain the facts to the people, the issue is not the number of exploding bombs or number of weapons, but in their ideological and political power.
We are paving the way for the people to trust their own power, to learn to govern themselves, to fight for their own power. In each area and unit;
We are marching to liberation by establishing COMMITTEES, PARLIAMENTS, FRONTS.
Mahirs, Uncles, Sinans, Sabos, Ibrahims, Şafaks, Bahtiyars, Çayans… are not an exception.
The first principle of dialectics is that everything changes, that is, “everyone can change, everyone can be made to fight.” All children of the people can do this; moreover, in all fields, political, scientific, artistic, moral, legal, cultural, economic, ONLY CHILDREN OF THE PEOPLE can do the best of everything.
We will step up our struggle without avoiding giving new martyrs when it is necessary to pay every price to explain the political realities to our people and to bring the people into the war. From Kızıldere to these days with Mahirs, we will win the victory with our moral superiority!
Morale is morality! Enthusiasm is a consciousness of history.
With our morale, enthusiasm and revolutionary morality, we will defeat all the corruption of the bourgeoisie.
