“Palestine We Are Coming” Campaign Participated in the Events marking Anniversary of Pavlos Fyssas Murder in Greece.
As the campaign “Palestine We Are Coming” and “Until Victory” delegation we participated in the commemoration of the Anti-Fascist Festival marking the 12 years since the martyrdom of the anti-fascist artist Pavlos Fyssas, who was killed by the Nazis of Golden Dawn in Greece.
On the first day Konstantina Kartsioti from the Anti-Imperialist Front spoke as representative of the campaign “Palestine We are Coming”.
She was a speaker in the panel, together with the president of the Palestinian Community in Greece, March to Gaza – Greece members, artists, academicians and also the mother of Pavlos Fyssas saluted the Panel and spoke about the connection of commemorating Pavlos with the struggle for Free Palestine.
Konstantina Kartsioti started her speech with mention of honouring the many thousands of martyrs of the Palestinian people and also Pavlos Fyssas.
She spoke about the campaign “Palestine We Are Coming”, about the caravan that starts on 20 September from Berlin and will continue up to the Rafah borders and Gaza, she made a call to the people to join in the events that will be held in Greece on 5-7 October before the caravan departs for Palestine.
She spoke about the importance of supporting the resistance, about the fight for Free Palestine from the River to the Sea and also she mentioned the common fight against imperialism, fascism and Zionism.
On the second day a speech was made in the concert in which 20,000 people participated and people were called upon to support the campaign “Palestine We are Coming” and the delegation until victory is achieved.
Thousands of leaflets were distributed to the audience and the next day we participated in the demonstration with the slogan: Pavlos Fyssas will live on in our struggle against imperialism, fascism and the isolation prisons of S,R,Y type in Turkey. Palestine, We Are Coming.
