The Imperialism-Backed Neo-Nazis Massacred Students in the Luhansk People’s Republic!
The Fascists Will Answer for the Cries of the Children They Murdered…
In drone (UAV) attacks carried out on May 22, 2026, by the fascist Ukrainian administration backed by imperialism against the city of Starobilsk in the Luhansk People’s Republic, civilian residential areas and student dormitories were once again targeted.
The fascist Neo-Nazis trained and armed by NATO have added yet another massacre to their record.
In the attacks in question, “state-of-the-art” UAV strikes were launched during the night against dormitories housing students between the ages of 14 and 18. According to initial reports, 6 students were killed as a result of the attack, while dozens of students were injured to varying degrees (according to official figures, 39 students—most of them seriously—were injured, and 15 students are still missing under the rubble).
Search and rescue operations and debris removal efforts are currently ongoing, while the injured students are receiving treatment in hospitals.
As Grup Yorum and Anti-Imperialist Front, in February 2025 we traveled to the Luhansk People’s Republic together with the Anti-Fascist Committee, of which we are the leading force, and held screenings of our documentary “8 Days in Donbass.” Through the visits and forums we organized, and by giving a highly attended concert to the people of Luhansk for the first time in years, we showed that we stood by their side and strengthened their hopes.
During these visits, we also went to the Sievierodonetsk region, located south of the city of Starobilsk that was bombed yesterday by the fascists, where we documented the war crimes of the Neo-Nazis backed by imperialism and conveyed them to our people and to the peoples of the world.
A year has passed, and the imperialists and their collaborators have added yet another crime to their record; we are enraged, and our anger is the reason we demand accountability from imperialism and its collaborators!
This is not the first crime committed by these murderers. From 2014 to the present day, they have carried out countless attacks against the people of the Donbass region in general, as well as against the populations of Mariupol, Kharkiv, Crimea, and other regions. Up until 2022 alone, approximately 15,850 people, including hundreds of children, were massacred in these attacks; after 2022, however, the number has not yet been definitively determined.
There Is No Legitimate Justification for Attacks on the Homes of Children, Students, and Civilians!
The fascist gangs are taking their masters as their example;
In the US-Israeli attacks against Iran, the blood of 168 schoolgirls massacred in the city of Minab still cries out for justice; their pain remains a wound in our hearts, and their smiling faces remain alive in our consciousness… we will also become the hope they were denied. The 168 schoolgirl students massacred in Minab are our reason to demand accountability!
And yesterday (May 22, 2026), we awoke to a new attack; we will be as just to the murderers and fascists as the cries of our massacred children!
We extend our condolences to all anti-fascists, anti-imperialists, and peoples opposing the terrorist organization NATO, especially to the people of Luhansk and Donbass.
Our duty is to organize against imperialism and its collaborating fascist gangs, to fight against the terrorist organization NATO in our countries, and to organize internationalism!
